Warda Zahid Khan

Warda is the recipient of many awards and scholarships. She has mentored and lead several youth projects around the country and across the globe with her strong team members and teachers. Her status as the Peace Ambassador has given her many frontiers to serve and build peace dialogue initiatives. Recently she partnered with Akhuwat, the largest interest-free microfinance organization in Pakistan to initiate a microfinance project to help empower women. Warda says “I have always had the passion to serve the community and WWGC is a reflection of my dreams. I want to leave behind a legacy where the next generation can look at us and proudly claim that their elders did what they could in their time to make this world a better place. WWGC is the perfect platform to do that!”

Manhattanville College graduate with a Finance major and Political Science minor.
Acquired a full-time position after graduation at MasterCard Worldwide as Associate Analyst
Permanent member of Seeds of Peace, a non-profit dedicated to promoting co-existence amongst the conflict ridden regions of the world, and was certified “Ambassador of Peace” at the age of 14. Following that, she was selected for a number of international conferences to promote peaceful co-existence and make a positive change in the world
During her college career, following have been her accomplishments:

Member of the Student Government Association at Manhattanville
Served as the Junior and Senior Class President respectively.
President for Seeds of Peace Club at Mville
Vice President for the Muslim Students Association.
Founder of the Mville-Pakistan Flood Relief Initiative to help the victims of 2010 Flood in Pakistan.
Member of Student Initiative on Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Manhattanville College.
