The Youth Initiative for Women Leadership (YIWL), a group of high school students from public and private schools in the DFW area, under World Women Global Council engage in year round activities, collaboration, communication with various groups and preparing project based initiatives to generate social impact. Learning to communicate effectively in speaking, listening and presenting an argument are important for any professional or academic pursuit. Students are expected to make their voice heard, but also the collaborative skills to listen and respect other points of view. Thinking through a problem from all sides, examining its multiple facets and considering all stakeholders is necessary for finding innovative solutions.

They work under a unique model of “Compassion to Human Capital” that strives to build executive leadership skills through WWGC’s core social justice principle of dignity and gender equality. We advocate awareness and action through unique projects, to lift communities and nations.

The leadership group under Dr. Dayani’s initiative did not only benefit from experiential learning process and lead fundraising events , He for She movement campaigns , entrepreneurship skills but also engaged positively on a public, private school leadership platform to enhance diversity goals and sustainable development. The program incorporated community service hours, created healthy communication between diverse group of high school students via regular Skype conferences with their local and Asian beneficiaries to understand issues, help develop solutions, and witness impact through learning local and global needs. This program gave students the opportunity to explore international issues in depth.
